23 points and counting..



With just 4 days left until and the help of some pretty awesome people I’ve managed to get 23 points in my Hall. I’m going to see just how far I can get until Guild Wars 2 is released but before I do that I just wanted to give some thanks. Without the help of these amazing people I would not be as far as I am today. So here we go…

Thank you qq & pewpew for helping me get 4 armor sets. Thank you Dusty author of the blog Of Course I’ll Play It for keeping me motivated and helping me with the start of Eye of the North for the 3rd time. Thank you Micheal for the mini pets. And a HUGE thank you to my guildies; Gently over at The Oddball Armada, Lethe, and Cosmic. The laughs, deaths, and all the help you’ve given me really mean the world to me. I am so honored to have you all as my guildies. 

Now onward for the home stretch and the last 7 points! 

Craziness at maximum

Well I said I was going to give up and be happy with 17 points but you see what had happened was….

Old friends of mine who have been playing GW1 long after I had given up have come to my rescue. They helped me kill Shiro this past weekend and helped me sell some junk so I could get enough cash together to get my Kurzick armor. Now here is the crazy part, they think I can get to 30 points by next Friday. Honestly anything over this is a total bonus to me plus just laughing on mumble will be a blast. So glad they decided to join my guild. It’s going to be awesome having them around for Guild Wars 2.

So let’s see here….another campaign completed and still no where closer to 30 points. Le’sigh. I really don’t think there is anyway possible to get 13 points in 13 days. Anyone selling some amber cheap….anyone….anyone…..

At least its finished and I guess that’s the most important part. I really must thank my friends for this because without either of them this never would have happened. So big round of applause for Lethe and Gently! Two of the best guildies a girl could have ever asked for. 

Also Gently dead parents in the closet is still a creepy background story for a necromancer….easily believable but still creepy.

Have you seen this person?!!!

Last seen battling her way through the lands of Tyria on June 10th 2012. She’s about 5ft 6in and has a bunch of creepy dead things following her around. Dressed in Karma gear from Kessex Hills and wielding a scepter/focus and staff combination. 

Or this person? 

She was last seen cheering in the Eye of the North. Happy with her victory of receiving 17 HoM points. Basking in the glory of new found armor and well on her way of completing the EotN campaign. 

In all honesty I think they’ve both been kidnapped by these people!!!!!

Controlled by some being they do not know but when the green PlumbBob is over their heads they have an urge to do whatever it says. They live in a quite suburb overlooking the river. I bet they’ve already dumped the bodies in it. >.<

In all seriousness I’ve been addicted to the sims since the end of the last beta weekend. It crept up on me slowly. At first I was content working on my Hall of Monuments. Doing my thing as the good folks do. Then the next thing I know I’m masterminding this story of a happy suburban couple, I should have called them The Yuppies that’s how “cute” they are, and I haven’t touched GW1 since.

My regular group for Guild Wars 1 kinda went their separate ways and I don’t blame them. We all have different schedules and different goals for obtaining our HoM points. At this stage in the game it is very much very man for themselves. However playing GW1 alone got quite boring and as I always do when that point happens I just give up and move on to something else. So with about a month left until the release of Guild Wars 2 I’m going to have to be content with my 17 points. Sadly I think its all I can accomplish on my own. It would have been nice to be Closer to the Stars but I’ll just have to settle for Rift Warden. :(
